So sorry but I think if you love your cat you should keep it inside! I know it may seem they want to go out but I've found that lasts only a short time, once they live inside for a little while they no longer want to go out so they're not suffering or lacking. You may wonder how I think I know anything and I don't claim to be an expert but I am the mommy of 7 indoor cats and 11 cats that live in an indoor outdoor climate controlled shelter. (No I'm not a crazy cat lady, I'm a 48 married accountant with 4 children and 3 grandchildren and only had 3 cats before hurricane Katrina and the outside cats came from a bad cat owner who left an unspayed cat outside who had babies and then her babies had babies and were abandoned thought I could find them homes to no avail so built they're shelter outside). I have an upstairs balcony they like to sunbathe on but only 3 of them, and when any of the other doors are left open they make no attempt to go outside. They're are many dangers and diseases outside and I want to keep them safe and healthy.
